The High Authority receives a high-level Vietnamese delegation
On September 24th, 2019, a delegation made of seven Vietnamese representatives, and led by the Government Inspector of Vietnam, Mr. Le Minh Khai, met with the High Authority during their study visit in France. The visit was organized by the French Anticorruption Agency.
The Government Inspectorate of Vietnam is a ministry-level agency that conducts inspections, including in the area of prevention of corruption, at the central and provincial levels. The objective of their visit was to exchange good practices with their French institutional counterparts. The delegation met with representatives of the general administrative inspection and of the Paris town hall.
During exchanges with the High Authority, the President Jean-Louis Nadal presented the High Authority’s origin and current missions. Ms. Marie Lintzer, international partnerships manager, and Ms. Anne de Moussac, co-director of the legal and studies department, then presented the High Authority’s actions and results related to the control of public officials’ asset declarations. The delegation was particularly interested in this aspect as Vietnam recently amended its anti-corruption law to include an obligation for public officials to declare their revenues and assets to the Government Inspectorate. The High Authority also presented the different procedures for the declarations’ disclosure.
