On a regular basis, the High Authority welcomes delegations and personalities from foreign institutions who want to learn more about its missions and exchange good practices in the public integrity field.
Visits of delegations and personalities
Some countries across the world have created institutions to ensure and control integrity in the public sector. Their scope covers all or some of the missions of the High Authority. Meeting and learning from such authorities is an important factor of mutual enrichment. It enables the High Authority to compare the French system with its equivalents abroad.
The High Authority also receives delegations which are looking for good practices when reforming their own integrity mechanisms. These delegations are usually composed of public servants from anticorruption agencies or of civil society representatives. Each presentation is tailored to the needs expressed by interlocutors.
The High Authority also regularly receives promising foreign leaders as part of the Future Leaders Invitation Programme of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The High Authority can engage in enhanced cooperation in order to support a country’s reform in the field of public integrity. For instance, it started a cooperation with the National Integrity Authority of Moldova in 2022, following a meeting between President Maia Sandu and Didier Migaud in 2021. Experts from both ANI and the High Authority visited their counterpart, to discuss actionable solutions to improve the Moldovan integrity system.
