The High Authority for transparency in public life aims at promoting public integrity in France. Since its creation in 2014, it has been leading an unprecedented transversal action both in its operations and areas of intervention. It promotes the integrity and exemplarity of public officials, monitors the ethics of civil servants, oversees lobbying and disseminates a cuture of integrity. Its independence is guaranteed by the functioning of its executive board and its financial and administrative autonomy.
